With her successful book "The Existentialist Café", British philosopher Sarah Bakewell proved how vividly philosophy can be told. In How to Become Human, she tells of Renaissance humanism and the then new and outrageous idea that human beings are essentially good and free, as well as of the committed thinkers of the 20th century. She shows that we can only become truly human in a world full of relationships, stories, songs and images, and invites us to live and think in a human - happy, free and curious - way.
