Accompanying this year's World Press Photo exhibition, the sweetSixteen cinema is showing a selected film:

Dear Memories - A Journey with Magnum Photographer Thomas Hoepker.

The German photographer Thomas Hoepker has lived in New York since the 1970s and is best known for his portraits of boxing legend Muhammad Ali. The black-and-white photographs are legendary and have left their mark on pop culture. To this day, the now over 80-year-old is still on the lookout for new motifs - even his Alzheimer's disease doesn't stop him. It's almost ironic that the man whose photos became a collective memory is now slowly losing his own. But the former president of the Magnum Photos agency still has one big wish: together with his wife Christine, he wants to take a road trip through the USA. Filmmaker Nahuel Lopez accompanies him on this journey.
