Exhibition and performative reading

The exhibition can be visited from 12.09.2024 to 14.09.2024 daily 18-21:30.

The exhibition will be accompanied by performances and live music

The exhibition decoy explores the theme of deception and sheds light on its multi-layered aspects. At a time when fake news, digital manipulation and targeted disinformation are omnipresent, it is extremely relevant to address the topic of deception. Deception influences our perception, our trust and ultimately our decision-making.
By understanding and questioning the mechanisms of deception, we can better arm ourselves against its negative effects and promote more conscious, critical thinking.

About the exhibiting artists:

Nikolas Müller, media artist and visual artist, shows paintings and watercolors.

Hagen Keller , sculptor and performance artist, shows stage design and sculpture.

Georgy Ponomarenko's works refer to real people in public life or fictitious characters from the civilian population who are or were involved in their own way in the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a performance that will be shown over three days:

Alexandra Pyatkova, a Berlin artist, performs to a sound art composition by Jan Arlt. The interplay with Hagen Keller 's objects creates a performative theater production that symbolizes that world of illusion. The means used are facets of poetry and movement.

Isabelle Finou is an artist and performer and will play a set of electronic sound art on Saturday.
