DEEP LOVE LABS

In the organizer's words:

"I love you" - three words that appear in countless stories, in music, in books and on stages, in pictures, in series, in fairy tales, films and advertising. Unpredictable matches, failed dates and rollercoaster rides of emotions: why do some stories keep repeating themselves while others are hardly ever told? Who are the protagonists of the love stories? How did they meet?

In the monthly DEEP LOVE LABORATORIES, Argentinian choreographer Fernanda Ortiz and her team explore the different dimensions of love. Between choreographic games and love stories, participants get to know the DEEP DEEP LOVE production team and have the opportunity to get creative themselves. Together, they will write various love stories and try out dance instructions and game rules. The labs will be incorporated into the design of the choreographic game DEEP DEEP LOVE, an experimental participatory dance performance that connects the participants in the theater space and online. DEEP DEEP LOVE celebrates its premiere at Kampnagel in February 2025.
