British math rock band on tour with new album "Blue Garden"

In April in Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Karlsruhe

The only thing humanity holds on to is hope. And so, on their fourth album "Blue Garden", released in September 2024, the British quartet Delta Sleep dig through the overwhelming darkness of the world in search of a glimmer of light - and with their heaviest release to date, they tie in thematically with their own extensive back catalog. In April, the band will present "Blue Garden" at six shows in Germany. "Blue Garden" was recorded in late 2023 after a year of extensive touring across America, Asia and Australia at Daft Studios in Belgium with Mark Roberts (Black Peaks, Toska, The Physics House Band). While previous albums such as "Twin Galaxies", "Ghost City" and "Spring Island" were created quickly by all four members going into the studio with demo songs and prepared tracks, this time the band started with a completely blank sheet. The new material was completely reworked together and deliberately left room for new sound textures. The lyrical themes of "Blue Garden", however, are truly dark. Underlined by the horrors taking place in Palestine, the album poses the question of how to deal with traumatic moments outside of one's own personal environment, where one feels powerless and desperate. Meanwhile, Delta Sleep weave their way through moments of darkness and light, interwoven with a sweeping atmosphere and complex tempos inspired by punk, indie and electronic influences, but still reminiscent of their math rock roots. It is this perfect combination of creating imagery in their sound that has made Delta Sleep a cult band. Having already reached #1 on the Bandcamp Rock Charts and garnered millions of listens around the world, "Blue Garden" represents their most reflective collection of songs to date. But amidst all the gloom, Delta Sleep signal that joy will return and hope will eventually be back on the mat.
