Denise is also part of the all-female international cast of DEAR WINNIE, a big Belgian/Dutch theatre production about the legacy of Winnie Madikizela Mandela, that was selected both in The Netherlands as well as in Belgium to be among the 10 best theatre plays of 2020. So far the play has been performed in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain, and will be picked up again in January 2025 after a stop caused by the covid pandemic. In the fall of '22 she portrayed the Trojan Queen Hekabe in the theater play ATROPA, the Revenge of Peace, that toured in The Netherlands.
