Live radio play with acting outbursts based on the Sherlock Homes classic "The Hound of the Baskervilles".
Mrs. Holmes and Dr. Watson are hired to investigate the mysterious death of Sir Charles of Baskerville, head of a pharmaceutical company. The autopsy reveals no plausible cause of death and so the family doctor, Dr. Mortimer, fears that the old family curse has taken effect. The company heiress Lady Henriet, who has traveled here, is in danger of life and limb. Initially, Dr. Watson investigates alone and meets the archaeologist Stapleton and his sister Beverly.
Are they both involved in the case? Does the company secretary Mrs. Barrymore have a hand in it? Or the activists who want to boycott the production - because dogs were allegedly used for animal testing? And will Dr. Watson solve the case without Mrs. Holmes?
