Der Räuber Hotzenplotz und die Mondrakete

In the organizer's words:

Black hat with a red feather, big nose, seven knives and a pepper gun: who doesn't know the robber Hotzenplotz?

Once again, the sly fellow has broken out of the fire station. Constable Dimpfelmoser immediately imposes an official curfew until the fiend is caught again. Kasperl and Seppel are determined to catch him. But how are they going to do it? They want to use a trick to hit the robber Hotzenplotz at his weakest point: his insatiable greed for treasure. The moon comes to mind, which is said to be made of pure silver. Their plan takes shape with the construction of an ingenious moon rocket. Will they succeed in capturing the robber?

At the end of the story, the children learn about the moon rockets that actually flew to the moon with people 50 years ago. But without the robber Hotzenplotz...
