Schotty has no problem removing human remains. Using brushes, rags and special chemical agents, the crime scene cleaner fearlessly tackles pools of blood, bone splinters and brain matter. There is only one thing that really bothers him: The contact with those who hang around the scenes of accidents, whether for a good reason or just because. Time and again, they engage him in conversations that even turn into downright philosophical discussions. But as exhausting as living people can be, Schotty listens to them, asks questions, gives advice or talks back and knows at the end of the day that he has well and truly earned his after-work beer.

First death, then work - then the audience's pleasure. Renowned playwright Ingrid Lausund achieved a unique TV coup in 2011 under the pseudonym Mizzi Meyer: with the non-adventures of the crime scene cleaner, who is unable to simply do his job without having to deal with the deeply human and humanizing conditions of society. Now the Reutlingen Theater is turning the Tonnekeller into a crime scene with selected events from the (working) life of Heiko "Schotty" Schotte.
