In the organizer's words:

In an evening living room, the mother of little sisters Flippa and Furia is swallowed up by her sofa. Shortly beforehand, she says: "I wish I was a carpet, then I could just lie here." She gets rid of her domestic duties and leaves the children behind. Years later, Flippa flies to Sardinia to meet Furia, whom she hasn't seen for a long time - she lives there in a women's commune surrounded by nature. There they raise children without men, organize spontaneous village parties and commit petty theft. The two spend time together until Flippa moves on, always on the lookout for a way to cut the "heterosexual knot", as the film puts it. Martha Mechow's debut film is rebellious, aesthetically excessive and unpredictable, playful and very funny. (Mechow, AT D 2023 - OmeU)
