Rocky Beach, California - With his extraordinary intelligence and photographic memory, Justus Jonas (JULIUS WECKAUF) is the "brains" of the famous detective trio The Three??, which is completed by the skeptical all-round athlete Peter Shaw (NEVIO WENDT) and Bob Andrews (LEVI BRANDL), who specializes in research and investigation. What the three boys have in common is their loyal friendship and their passion for mysteries and seemingly inexplicable secrets, which they get to the bottom of in their secret headquarters in Justus' Uncle Titus' (FLORIAN LUKAS) scrapyard. Next up is a joint trip to Romania during the summer vacation, where the three friends are allowed to complete an internship on the film set of "Dracula Rises", arranged by Peter's father (MARK WASCHKE), who is responsible for the special effects during filming. As soon as they arrive in Transylvania, mysterious events begin to pile up at the old castle of Countess Codrina (GUDRUN LANDGREBE), which serves as the original setting for the film. The three detectives want to find out what all this has to do with a boy who has been missing for over 50 years, a mysterious brotherhood and an enigmatic undead. Soon, not only the filming and Peter's relationship with his father, but also the friendship of the three ??? are at stake.
