Die kleine Figur

In the organizer's words:

Would you like to create your own wooden figure, but don't know how? The sculptor Sarah Hillebrecht and the artist Christian Przygodda will show you step by step the way from the initial idea to the finished figure. Over eight evenings, you can create your own individual project without following a fixed program - entirely according to your personal interests.

The group will receive an introduction to the technique of hand carving, the use of tools and a foundation in materials science. You will be guided through the entire working process, from the sketch to the finished sculpture, colored with acrylic paint. The dual supervision offers plenty of room for individual support in order to learn and combine the tricks and techniques of sculpting and painting.

Material: Wood, paint and tools are provided, you are welcome to bring your own material.
