When it comes to poverty in literature, the words equal opportunities and social mobility are often not far away. Social class is understood as the fate of the parents, from which the children who write can escape through educational advancement. In their books 'The Situation' and 'Of the Nameless Crowd', writers Mesut Bayraktar and Olivier David look at society from the point of view of those for whom class forms a continuum of violence, oppression and a struggle for dignity and solidarity. The double reading will be presented by moderator and lawyer Dîlan Sina Balhan.
