After the successful failure of their bourgeois existences on the Mediterranean island of Corsica, Butzbacher & Brommelmeier are back on the big time and engaged as entertainers on an expedition ship. The ship is wrecked off the coast of the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia.
While the people on board wait impatiently for spare parts, Butzbacher & Brommelmeier immerse themselves in the island's oblivious world. Certainties and certainties seem to dissolve in the bay of Grytviken.
Founded in the 1990s, the microdrama theater from Bremen with Mateng Pollkläsener and Hans König has made a name for itself during countless tours and performances at renowned festivals within the German-speaking world.
The micro-dramas written by Hans König compose themselves into a coherent story full of idiosyncratic, ludicrous linguistic images, with which the weird corners of the world in which Butzbacher & Brommelmeier prefer to spend their time are created in the audience's imagination.
