DIE NERVEN have been around since 2010. Founded in Esslingen and now based in Stuttgart and Berlin, they are not only considered one of the best live bands in the country: After a flood of digital releases unparalleled in their creative will to create, FLUIDUM (Fin Du Monde/This Charming Man Records) appeared in 2012, followed in 2014 by FUN (ibid.), understood by Jan Wigger (Spiegel Online) as "one of the most important and best German-language records of this decade". Always remaining credible and connected to the underground, DIE NERVEN played their way through clubs and festivals in the following years (Roskilde, Melt!, Appletree Garden, Sziget, Eurosonic), undertook a tour of Israel and were the first German-speaking band to release on the style-defining US label Amphetamine Reptile Records. In 2015, they released their third album OUT (Glitterhouse Records) and toured extensively far beyond the borders of Germany, which led to their first live record LIVE IN EUROPA in June 2017. FAKE then, a chart success for the band at number 13, marked their breakthrough at the latest. In 2022, their fifth, self-titled album DIE NERVEN is released on Glitterhouse Records. The first single release EUROPA is presented live on TV on ZDF Magazin Royale, the album enters the Top 100 album charts at number 17 and is subsequently toured extensively. DIE NERVEN have become an integral part of the vibrant regions of the music world - they are fueling and shaping it! And not only through the band itself: Kevin Kuhn, one of the most melodic and independent drummers of our time, also plays drums with Gordon Raphael and Wolf Mountains, Julian Knoth produces impressive, powerful and avant-garde records with the Peter Muffin Trio and Yum Yum Club, and Max Rieger (e.g. All This Violence) produces the most impressive, powerful and avant-garde records in the world.All diese Gewalt) has produced Casper, Drangsal, Die Selektion, Friends Of Gas, Ilgen-Nur, Jungstötter, Stella Sommer etc., putting him at the forefront of the German music industry beyond predictable plastic works. In September 2024, their sixth studio album WIR WAREN HIER will be released on Glitterhouse Records, followed by an extensive tour.
