Die Regentrude

Open-air theater with masks and music based on Theodor Storm (5+)

There hasn't been a summer this hot for a hundred years. There is no more green to be seen. The fireman is playing tricks on people and animals and scorching the earth. Mother Stine remembers a fairy: the Rain Fairy, who woke her great-grandmother with a magic spell in ancient times and thus brought the rain back into the world. But where does the rain fairy live and what was the name of the spell? With sensual theater images, masks and lots of live music, the fairy tale of courageous changes and closeness to nature is told.

Theater NADI is an ensemble of dancers and actors and was founded in 2004 by the pantomime and actor Steffen Findeisen and the Japanese actress Noriko Seki. In their works, they combine poetic gestures and ritual masks with dance elements. For "Die Regentrude", the ensemble worked together with Potsdam puppeteer Nora Raetsch for the first time. The theater has a long-standing collaboration with the T-Werk.
