From the plant coca to the narcotic cocaine. The film impressively shows the bloody path that the production of the party drug takes. On the other hand, for the Yanacuna indigenous people in San Agustín, coca is an essential part of their natural religion.

Coca is actually just a plant. But the cocaine extracted from the coca leaves is the reason for an ongoing war with countless deaths. The film goes to the place where the conflict over the green shrub and the white powder is at its bloodiest - Colombia. It shows farmers, paramilitaries, guerrillas and dealers and impressively describes how a country was and is dominated by a drug war, while the drug serves as a party kick elsewhere. And it shows the Yanacuna indigenous people in San Agustín, for whom coca is an essential part of their natural religion. For them, a ban on cultivation would be tantamount to losing their spirituality.

After the movie, the music is played in the pub.
