Solo based on Marlen Haushofer's novel

"I am just a simple person who has lost his world and is on the way to finding a new one." (from: Marlen Haushofer: "The Wall")

A woman travels to a hut with a couple of friends. On the evening of the first day, the friends say goodbye, they want to stop off at the village inn. But they never return. Overnight, a catastrophe occurs that separates the hut from the outside world, where all life has come to a standstill. Left to her own devices and trapped inside, the woman fights for survival and finally finds herself.

In her production, Angela Hundsdorfer seeks strategies for being thrown onto one's own back in a crisis. What gives meaning to human life? What gives us the courage to face life?

In an intense solo evening, the actress brings Marlen Haushofer's modern classic to the stage.
