Based on the children's book by Gioconda Belli and Wolf Erlbruch // ages 4 and up

DURATION: approx. 45 minutes

A long time ago, the creators of all things invented the creatures of the earth, plants, animals, stars and rocks. The young, talented Rodolfo is one such creator. He comes from a family of designers steeped in tradition; his grandfather invented the rainbow! Rodolfo dreams of creating something truly extraordinary: a creature that is as beautiful as a flower and can fly like a bird. But that would be against the rules, because animals and plants are not allowed to mix! That's why he and his friends are sent to the insect workshop as punishment. But friendship can do a lot, including inspire self-confidence, and so Rodolfo makes his great invention after all!
