Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's popular Magic Flute is available at Open Opera as a family-friendly afternoon performance. And best of all: adults only pay €20 for all seats, children and young people just €10!

The Magic Flute is a story of growing up and love: Tamino is commissioned by the Queen of the Night to rescue her daughter Pamina, who is being held captive by Sarastro in his temple of wisdom. Involuntarily, the bird-catcher Papageno is sent on Tamino's journey, on which the classifications of good and evil, light and shadow, wisdom and irrationality are repeatedly turned upside down (and back again). After numerous tests of courage and perseverance, Tamino and Pamina find their place in the world - as adults and as lovers (and of course Papageno also finds his Papagena).
