Dinge, die um drei Uhr nachts geschehen

In the organizer's words:

We look behind the façade of the night and illuminate what otherwise remains hidden. Whether melancholic, amusing, frightening or fantastic. United by a time of day, we have created texts that illuminate every facet of human experience and captivate with their variety of styles, themes and genres.

We, the Schreibsündikat e.V., are an association that is still in its infancy, but is not afraid to pursue the great goal of promoting German-language literature. Through regular meetings and constant mutual criticism, we grow beyond the literary work of individual members and give creative writers a platform to make their works accessible to a wider audience through readings and publications.

As is evident from our name, we do not want to be restricted by norms and conventions, but playfully see ourselves as the fall from grace of the German literary landscape. In this reading, we present for the first time excerpts from the texts of the forthcoming anthology "Dinge, die um drei Uhr nachts geschehen": the collective debut work of ten authors of the Schreibsündikat.

The reading will take place on July 10 from 7 pm at Gans am Wasser am Mollsee in Westpark. Free admission, food and drinks can be purchased on site.
