She came, saw and conquered! There's no other way to describe how Sheléa transformed Bremen's market square into a dance floor at the Open Air Musikfest finale last September. In her homage to Aretha Franklin, the charismatic artist brought the Queen of Soul's songs back to life with her voluminous, multi-octave voice. Now she is coming to the Glocke with the hr-Bigband, which was no less impressive at the last Musikfest alongside Lisa Simone, to present her program "Diva". It combines standards from the Great American Songbook by Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Rodgers and Hart with hits by Burt Bacharach, Michel Legrand and Sérgio Mendes. All songs that became legendary in the interpretations of great singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee, Natalie Cole and Barbra Streisand.
