Donkey Kid is back: his new single "But then the night" is sophisticated, tasteful and it feels like you've been briefly transported back to the 00s and the beginning of the Strokes era. And perhaps this is already a crisp, short harbinger of a debut album that will be released soon?

This clearly shows that Donkey Kid has already made a name for himself beyond Germany's borders with his sound and charismatic style. In addition to an almost sold-out first European tour in October 2023, the young Berliner can look back on two impressively packed festival summers with over 60 festival appearances, including at Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik, the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and, above all, established German indie festivals such as Dockville and Immergut Festival. So far, he has only released one EP and a few singles.
