Songs by famous Arab divas from Oum Kalthoum to Fairuz

Dorsaf Hamdani, a master of the malouf and an important voice in Tunisia, presents songs by famous Arab divas such as Oum Kalthoum and Fairuz for the first time in NRW. With a master's degree and doctorate in musicology as well as experience in France and Egypt, she combines cultural influences from the Arab world and Europe. Her latest concert program is based on a personal album from 2011, reinterpreting and altering the originals to create fresh sounds.
