Dortmund Goes Black 2024

In the organizer's words:

In May 2024, the Dortmund Goes Black Festival will enter its third round. Over a period of three days, you can expect outstanding performances from the fields of dance, theater, performance, visual arts and concerts at various venues of the Schauspiel - all from an African, Afro-diasporic and Black perspective. We pay particular attention to artists who have a connection to Dortmund, the Ruhr region and NRW.

Dortmund Goes Black was launched three years ago in cooperation with the four cultural institutions Dortmunder Kunstverein, Internationales Frauenfilmfest Dortmund I Köln, Keuning.haus and Schauspiel Dortmund and is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in cooperation with the NRW Kultursekretariat Wuppertal.
