A pack of strays - seven dogs and a woman - live in the shadows of Moscow. Hidden by the totalitarian authorities, two species share their existence on the brink of disappearance. They roam in constant restlessness through a wild landscape where the city is falling apart. Shot from the perspective of the animals, the patterns of mutual dependence and taming begin to melt away.

"Elsa Kremser and Levin Peter expand the Muscovite dog cosmos presented in SPACE DOGS (2019) with a narrative about home (homelessness) and the possibility of comfort: in it, the perspective directed from the four-legged to the two-legged animal enables a new legibility of the events and the balance of power in the dog-human structure is reversed. In the process, "shelter" becomes a relative term. Who is dreaming of whom here? And what is he dreaming about?" Viennale 2024
