In January 2025, the Oroc-Gutiérrez duo will be touring Europe to present their unique approach on international stages.

On January 31 at 19:30, they will be performing at MACHADO (Severinsmühlengasse 1, 50678 Cologne) with Free admission by donation.

Jacqueline Oroc and Pepe Gutiérrez invite the audience to immerse themselves in an incomparable experience that combines the musical heritage of their country with an innovative and passionate interpretation. A unique sound journey to listen, dance and enjoy Argentinian folk music.

The Oroc-Gutiérrez duo brings the audience the rioplatense tango repertoire with an unmistakable style, as well as a selection of the most representative works of Argentine folk music. They combine the classical tango tradition with contemporary freshness, offering an exceptional musical experience

The group takes the inexhaustible resources of a classical instrument with a deep sound, such as the cello, and mixes them with the suppleness and harmonic liveliness of the tango guitar and Argentine folklore. Their music contains the sound of the tango orchestra halls and the chamber music warmth of the old formations of the "patio criollo" (Creole courtyard).
