Cologne-based EASY EASY are back this year with new music. A reflection on a short but unfinished journey of mental and physical breakdowns, dejection and intoxication, brought to life by co-producers Leon Sieland and Leon Laguna de la Vera.

Since emerging from their bedroom studios in 2021 with laid-back songs about skateboarding, partying and hangover depression, they have developed a rather special sound that makes them one of the most celebrated bands of the New German Wave at the moment. Guitar sounds reminiscent of bands like Bech Fossils or King Krule meet basslines that are more reminiscent of Joy Division or The Cure, plus a drum sound that sounds both electronic and organic. Thematically, their releases revolve around the emotions of a young generation: fear, love, hate, missing, fighting and everything in between.
