The two musicians are very similar in their mindset, musical tastes and artistic vision, creating a seamless synergy that allows them to improvise together effortlessly. This deep connection elevates their performances to a higher level and allows them to create complex and harmonious improvisations that captivate and enchant the audience. Improvisation in Persian classical music is the pinnacle of performance and requires years of practice and mastery under the guidance of experienced musicians. Beyond technical skills, it involves an inner journey that allows musicians to be fully present and lose track of time and place. This school of improvisation requires an emotional connection and a shared artistic vision from the performers. Therefore, each performance is unique and is shaped by the mood and energy of the artists and the audience. Therefore, the audience plays a crucial role as co-creators of the music performed.
