"Ein Ring für alle" - autofreier Tag auf dem Promenadenring

As the highlight of European Mobility Week 2024, the Promenadenring will be car-free again on September 22 after a two-year break. Under the motto "A ring for everyone", visitors can experience the potential that the Promenadenring can offer as a public space and meeting place. From noon to 6 p.m., organizations, initiatives and companies will be shaping the ring with over 40 varied activities to make Car Free Day 2024 an unforgettable experience.

The Promenadenring will be divided into two areas: On the so-called "action strip" (inner lanes), clubs will invite people to inform themselves, join in, linger, stroll and dance. On the "mobility band" (outer lanes), visitors can get active - for example by bike or skateboard. The streetcar remains in operation as part of the environmental network.
