Now he picks up the thread again and brings the interwoven fates of Thomas Mann and Katia Pringsheim to life with great narrative verve (DVA). In doing so, he draws on decades of research and interviews and allows us to see the members of probably the most famous German family of the 20th century with completely new eyes. The prelude to the Thomas Mann commemorative year on the occasion of his 150th birthday.
