Coincidence or intentional?
A shot is fired - but what exactly has happened remains hidden at first. Camilla does try to find out this secret from her friend Penelope, but then their conversation is unexpectedly interrupted by Camilla's husband Robert, who actually just wants to have his evening cocoa. Was it a rash act, a deliberate act, or just an unfortunate coincidence? Penelope becomes entangled in increasingly complex excuses and a cat-and-mouse game about the truth begins.

Emancipation from social conventions
Saunders' one-act play raises fundamental questions about free will and the responsibility of human action. The play examines how interpersonal relationships and social conventions shape our actions. The production is set in the early 1960s, where the husbands live contentedly in tradition and routine, while the two wives long for a little more drama in their lives.
