Charles Dickens' famous CHRISTMAS STORY will soon be 200 years old. But even if it comes from a time far removed for us, the realization that togetherness and friendship are vital is as timeless as Christmas itself.

Jingle bells, the smell of gingerbread and shining children's eyes get on the nerves of the convinced Christmas grouch Ebenezer Scrooge. For him, this is the worst time of the year, because how are you supposed to go about your important business amidst all the sugar-sweet, glittering cheerfulness? Only this time everything turns out differently. Even though Scrooge doesn't actually believe in ghosts, he receives a visit from one on Christmas Eve. They prescribe shock therapy for the convinced misanthrope, confronting him with his past and present, but above all with his bleak prospects for the future. The cognitive value is enormous. And Scrooge's desire to change his life becomes ever stronger.
