Raft bridge becomes EURO Bridge

The location chosen for the kick-off event could hardly be more symbolic - a bridge that symbolizes unity: between nations, fan camps and guests from all over the world. This special honor will be bestowed on the Flößerbrücke, which will be wrapped in an oversized striped jersey for the duration of the tournament, echoing the European Championship logo colors of the 24 participating nations.

The graphic stripes are extended into the evening sky by spotlights for the one-off evening event and react like a gigantic visualizer to the music composition arranged especially for the event.

One-off performance of the open-air production

The bridge production at the Flößerbrücke can be seen on Wednesday, June 12 at 10.30 pm. Audience areas with a good view of the action are the Wesel shipyard and the Sachsenhausen side of the Main opposite. Hessischer Rundfunk will broadcast the show live on television.

The Fan Zone on the banks of the Main between Eiserner Steg and Friedensbrücke will open on Friday, June 14, from 1 p.m. and will offer public viewing of all matches throughout the European Championships as well as an extensive program on non-match days. Admission is free.
