Enamel is a glass-like coating that is applied to metal or glass and fired in a kiln at high temperatures. This creates a smooth and durable surface. Enamel can be designed in different colors, transparencies and also in several layers. It can be worked with metal bars, stencils or freely, applied with a brush or sifted. In addition to the many design possibilities, the result after the firing process also remains exciting: how the colors appear and whether the melting of the carrier material corresponds to your own ideas is not entirely predictable, can surprise and sometimes opens up completely new possibilities.
