Emanias Project - Fusion

In the organizer's words:

The four band members are currently studying music in Berlin, Dresden and Leipzig. Project Emanias was formed in January 2021, originally consisting only of pianist Emmanuel Walter and drummer Elias Prell. In November 2021, the band expanded to include saxophonist Hendrik Marin and bassist Simon Henschen, forming the quartet.
The group works out their ideas together and plays exclusively original compositions. Their music draws on fusion, groove, but also electronic styles such as techno or DnB. The band now offers a unique program that translates these inspirations into a club atmosphere. The music melts the boundaries between complex jazz compositions and danceable DJ sets.
The band has already proven itself at many live performances throughout Germany, but also in Poland. The four musicians won 3rd prize at the Sparda Jazz Award in 2023.
