ERRORR (Berlin) - Delicious noise pop with a bittersweet taste
ERRORR's debut album Self Destruct was released in 2023 via Anomic Records with an exclusive Fuzz Club Edition. Since then, the band has been touring Europe restlessly, including as support for The Brian Jonestown Massacre & A Place To Bury Strangers.
The quartet's characteristic sound is characterized by loud guitars and powerful fuzz basses, supported by catchy drum beats. All these elements merge into a wall of sound that turns screaming "noise" into a pop record.
The band was founded by Leonard Kaage, who is the guitarist and producer of The Underground Youth and has worked with bands such as The Blue Angel Lounge, Tess Parks and Anton Newcombe to name but a few. He was later joined by Nick Mangione on bass and Olga Karatzioti-B. (Art Brut/ Gloria de Oliveira) on guitar.
ERRORR are one of the most compelling new acts in the contemporary underground scene, bringing an unadulterated crassness to the table that hasn't been heard for a long time.
MAQUINA (Portugal)
Created from minimal Krautrock repetitions, pounding EBM and industrial techno - that's MAQUINA!
The dynamic trio from Lisbon, consisting of João (guitar), Tomás (bass) and Halison (drums + vox), made a significant impact on the Portuguese music scene with the release of their debut album on January 27, 2023. With their energetic performances that combine dance culture with hard-hitting hook-song artistry, the band quickly earned a good reputation among audiences.
Inspired by repetition/minimalism-centered styles such as krautrock and industrial techno. Fearless explores the boundaries of these genres by incorporating elements of rock and electronic music into their distinctive sound. The album "DIRTY TRACKS FOR CLUBBING" features a mix of pulsating beats, shrill bass riffs and loud guitars that challenge norms and push the boundaries of conventional music. They have successfully created an unmistakable identity in the music scene.
One of the outstanding features of MAQUINA is their live quality.
Support: Aksiseda from Austria.
