PIPIFAX - Literary cabaret

Finally, after a 5-year creative break, there will be a new program from Erwin Grosche. It will be called PIPIFAX and will be Pipifax. If you look in the dictionary, PIPIFAX stands for "foolish stuff and nonsense." This is exactly what Erwin Grosche has been doing on stage for 50 years, hiding touching philosophical thoughts and serious insights in all the nonsense. Follow the world eavesdropper on his walk through his city and his settlement. What he sees there is human, cheerful and comforting. Intoxicated texts about poppy seed cake, the latest findings about cooked cheese and wistful descriptions of everyday life with cheers can be found in the program as well as wrong decisions about the purchase of a hamster or what might speak against the use of a trumpet. Is that pipifax? Yes, but it would be a shame if this pipifax didn't exist. "He fires off his flashes of wit like comedy stars fire off their platitudes, and again and again you ask yourself: is it a clown standing there making jokes, or is it a philosopher? Is it de Saint-Exupéry's little prince who has grown older and come back from his planet to open people's eyes to the wonderful, to amuse, touch and enchant them?" (Manuela Baumann 2024)
