Storytelling and writing workshop

Why Giesing of all places? Why do you love this district so much? Is there a special place here for you that you associate with a story, a moment, an encounter?

We are looking for people of all ages, nationalities and genders who live in Giesing and want to tell their small, large and medium-sized stories about their favorite places. It could be a stone by the Isar where you like to sit. A lantern under which you sing every night. A small beer garden where you regularly meet your friends. And much more.

A group of theater artists is looking forward to exploring Giesing with you and helping you tell your story. As part of a storytelling and writing workshop, they want to get to know your stories and put them down on paper so that you can tell them again.

You don't need any writing experience or previous knowledge. You don't need to speak perfect German either. You just need to bring one thing with you: A love of storytelling and a desire to try something new.

The writing workshop will take place in the period

from January 9 to 18, 2025, weekdays 18:00-21:00 and Saturdays 10:00-13:00 at the

Cultural Center Giesinger Bahnhof

Giesinger Bahnhofsplatz 1, 81539 Munich

You do not have to be available on all days. When registering, please let us know the days on which you cannot come during this period.

The storytelling and writing workshop is free of charge.

On January 23 and 24, 2025, there will be a presentation for friends and family at the Giesinger Bahnhof cultural center to show your stories and experiences.
