October 03, 2024 to November 02, 2024
As part of a school project with the Brockhaus-Gymnasium of the city of Leipzig, pupils in class 9a talked to contemporary witnesses of the Leipzig Autumn of 1989 about topics such as memory, participation, foreignness and fear. Accompanied by photographer Margret Hoppe and writer Constanze John, the pupils visited historical sites of the "peaceful revolution" together with the eyewitnesses and created photographs and texts based on their experiences. This presentation shows the results of this workshop.
