Children's theater play
by Dita Zipfel and Finn-Ole Heinrich
recommended from 6 years
AAAAAAAAAAAH! BOING! KABOOOM! What was that? -
That's what they both ask themselves. Heike, the firefly in her prime, and her best friend, Robert-Robert, the frog (perhaps not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but always very concerned for Heike's well-being).
Until recently, everything was fine, Heike practiced hard to be able to fly, because she thinks it is simply unfair that only fireflies can fly. Robert-Robert helped her and even gave up meat for Heike.
Where have they suddenly landed? And who is that?
It's dark and they're not alone! Honolulu Jacques has also landed in this gloomy place. But he doesn't care where he is, for how long or why. All he cares about is his hunger. Locked up in a shoebox, robbed of their freedom, they now squat there with no prospect of escape.
The friendship between Heike and Robert-Robert now faces completely new challenges: Robert-Robert is actually quite comfortable in the shoebox, as long as his girlfriend is with him, while Heike has completely different ideas about freedom and desperately wants to get out.
The three of them will have to thoroughly rethink their ideas of freedom, friendship and the meaning of life... Can we be free if others have to remain unfree? What do we take upon ourselves to help a friend?
Our new children's theater production gets to the bottom of highly philosophical questions in a fun and child-friendly way. Guaranteed family fun, where adults can finally be children again!
On request, we also offer schools the opportunity to follow up the play with an educational follow-up on the subject of friendship.
The latest children's play by the award-winning author duo Finn-Ole Heinrich (including FRERK, DU ZWERG) and Dita Zipfel (including WIE DER WAHNSINN MIR DIE WELT ERKLÄRTE and BRUMMPS).
The performance rights are held by Verlag für Kindertheater Weitendorf Gmbh, Max-Brauer-Allee 34, 22765 Hamburg.
