Led by the charismatic and histrionic presence of Masha Mysmane and her powerful, unique soprano voice, Exilia are on tour with their album "Heroes And Dust" as well as the special edition for the 20th anniversary of "Unleashed". The band from the vibrant metropolis of Milan has embodied the authentic essence of hardcore in the alternative metal genre for two decades, as rock and metal fans have been able to see for themselves on their numerous international tours with rock stars such as Oomph, In Extremo, Paradise Lost and their US shows supporting Drowning Pool and Buckcherry. Exilia pushed the boundaries with their music from the very beginning, interweaving metal riffs, fast beats, spoken words and poetic depth with melodies that became unforgettable anthems.

In 2000, Exilia quickly caught the attention of MTV with their debut album "Rightside Up" and were awarded the Best European Newcomer Award in 2003. Exilia's experiences on stage with bands such as HIM, Therapy? and The Rollins Band inspired the sound and led to the powerful "Underdog" EP. This received rave reviews and paved the way for high profile European tours with the likes of In Extremo and Paradise Lost. The sonic attack of the second album "Unleashed", which reached number 38 in the German charts, once again proved the extraordinary class of the high-flyers. Legendary hits such as "Stop Playing God", "Coincidence" or "Can't Break Me Down" show a mixture of chainsaw riffs and whiskey-soaked vocals that captivated and still resonates. Their 2006 album "Nobody Excluded" is part of the soundtrack to the popular US TV series "Grey's Anatomy". The hit "Kill Me" was also produced in collaboration with Amnesty International and included a music video highlighting the human rights issues surrounding Guantánamo. The third album "My Own Army" (2008) revealed a mature and complex sound, while retaining the vitality of the riffs typical of Exilia. The mesmerizing fifth album "Decode" was released in 2012 and "Purity" cemented Exilia's position at the heart of the European metal scene in 2015.

"Feel The Fire", the first single from the new album "Heroes And Dust" (2023), is about those moments when we feel alone and search for a reason to keep our spirit on fire. With the other singles "Not The End Of The World", a call to stand up and have self-confidence even in difficult times, the impressive interpretation of The Weeknd's hit "Blinding Lights" as well as "Hypnotized", which revolves around a psychological experience in toxic love relationships, and "Supernova", the Italians aroused anticipation for the new album. Inspired by Metallica's "Sad But True", the single "In The Afterglow" is about the challenges of life and the need to accept painful truths.

With their album "Heroes And Dust" and the hits and new songs from the special edition of "Unleashed XX", Masha Mysmane and her comrades-in-arms show that they are still a force to be reckoned with. Exilia have always blown up the stereotypes of female fronted metal and continue on this path impressively.
