EYES ON JAPAN 2025: Suzume

17-year-old Suzume was raised by her aunt in a small town on the island of Kyushu after losing her mother at an early age. On her way to school, she meets an enigmatic young man named Sota who is looking for a door. She follows him to a ruin in the mountains, where she does indeed come across a dilapidated door. But when she impulsively turns the knob, she unleashes the disaster that was held back by the door. Doors open all over the country, concealing further dangers. Together, Suzume and Sota embark on an adventure across Japan to close them all again...
