Fabrizio Bosso Quartett: WE4

With a diploma from the Turin Conservatory of Music in his pocket, trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso traveled to Washington D.C. to continue his studies. He has now been a member of Italy's jazz elite for over 20 years. In 2017, with the release of his live double album State of the Art, Fabrizio Bosso not only documented the state of his art, he also marked the new beginning of his artistic journey, together with three extraordinary traveling companions Julian Oliver Mazzariello, Jacopo Ferrazza and Nicola Angelucci. They worked on their album WE4 immediately after the pandemic, demonstrating how important it is for them to make music together and share it beyond the stage. After countless concerts and years of making music together, the quartet has now reached new heights in terms of sound, interplay and composition with WE4. The new repertoire includes original pieces by the members of the quartet. With: Fabrizio Bosso (trumpet), Nicola Angelucci (percussion). Julian Oliver Mazzariello (piano) and Jacopo Ferrazza (double bass). In collaboration with the Jazz-Initiative Frankfurt.
