Three-day movement/dance workshop for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and anyone who has experienced bullying or social pressure due to gender role expectations.

Led by choreographer Daniel Smith, dramaturg Marvin Wittiber and dancers Jonathan Reimann and Valentina Restrepo (this workshop is for people with and without dance experience. We will use dance and the exploration of movement to strengthen our self-confidence and share our different experiences and perspectives.

And why?

For many people who have experienced such injuries in childhood, the scars can remain into adulthood. Dance, movement and theater can be very useful tools to find your own voice. By learning to take up space and move in our own unique way, we can positively impact both the individual and society as a whole.
