At the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS - Stories of failure in love on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the new location Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld , you'll get the perfect mix of emotional, funny and helpful: two personal stories, relieving stand-up comedy and professional tips on how to make relationships work better in the long term. Want to be entertained and inspired to think? We'll kick off the evening with open conversations about the failures and successes of love and celebrate open and respectful interaction.

At the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS, you'll be surprised to see how much you recognize yourself in the stories of others and what differences you notice. The four speakers of the evening will share their personal experiences and messages with you.

Abraham Julius

was born in Werdohl in 1984 and spent his childhood in an idyllic small town surrounded by nature. In the midst of this idyll, he entered into his first relationship at the age of 21 and gained his first experiences. The reason why this relationship ended when he was 24 marked a turning point in his love life, which he will tell you about at the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS Cologne Vol. 22. After a phase of being single, at the age of 32 he began to feel the fear of remaining a bachelor forever. The desire for a child and a family led him into a relationship that ultimately proved to be toxic. At the age of 35, he took the time to define himself, his values and his ideas of a partnership. A year later, at the age of 36, he met his current partner. Together they welcomed their daughter in 2022 and built a happy partnership that continues to this day. He will tell us more about what helped him find the right partnership for him in the CBE on March 28!

Alexandra Soor
was born in 1979, studied economics and psychology in Mainz and has been working as a couples therapist, Gestalt therapist and hypnotherapist in her own psychotherapeutic practice for 13 years. Her focus is on working with women and couples. An exciting and recurring theme in her practice is the art of lying to oneself. We often feel more comfortable in the distance to others, their transgressive behavior, saying "yes" and our dream castles than in reality and closeness to ourselves. But why do we always talk in our dreams about the wonderful closeness to someone that we want so much, but can't let it happen and turn love into a game of hide-and-seek and a sea with high waves instead of preferring a calmly flowing stream? Alexandra brings a few answers to the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS at the CBE and also has a few tips on how to transform the well-known phrase "But you" in a partnership.

Lara Autsch
is a comedienne and does not write press releases. Try writing a text after one of her performances that adequately sums up the program presented on stage - you'll find it's impossible! Just make up your own mind. Oh, and if you do succeed: please send her the text.
