During his almost 100-show MAGIC UNPLUGGED tour, one of Germany's most fascinating illusionists announces his new show, including a taboo-breaker: in his new program GEISTESKRANK, FARID questions nothing less than everything we think we know about normality and madness.

The visionary magician sees GEISTESKRANK not only as a word that insults, devalues and discriminates. In his new show, he confronts us with the question of whether we are not basically all somehow MENTALLY SICK.

Do we actually still live in a world that meets human needs? Or do we live in an unnatural, very artificial environment that must make us sick in the mind?

When we take a close look at what is actually normal or crazy, what is right and what is wrong, we discover new, amazing and yes, magical things through FARID!

FARID knows the term MENTALLY SICK all too well, as the question he is most often asked after his shows - sometimes without thinking - is: "Are you MENTALLY SICK?" The answer seems to be in the air and offers a wealth of deeply moving material for his new work.
