FASHIONING THE ORCHESTRA
Our festival opener invites you on a journey through musical history. The orchestra will put on its "musical seven-league boots" and play excerpts of works from the Baroque to the present day for you. Parallel to the musical transformation, the orchestra will also transform its outward appearance and consciously play with fashion elements created from recycled materials by the young fashion designer Kaja Busch.
Fashioning the Orchestra questions our viewing and listening habits: How many breaks with tradition can audiences and musicians be expected to accept - when are they no longer perceived as an orchestra or no longer feel as such? We all need spaces, situations, moments in which we can experience and sense the possibility of a different appearance, a different life. Fashioning the Orchestra invites you to such experiences!

Price information:

Children up to the age of 12, schoolchildren and students, FSJ volunteers, severely disabled persons (from GdB 80) and wheelchair users and their registered companion receive a reduced ticket price on presentation of the relevant authorization card. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Tickets for wheelchair users and their accompanying person can be booked via the Frankfurt Ticket RheinMain hotline and advance booking offices.
