Fatigateau

Faster, higher, further. This is how young people perceive today's world and fear that they will no longer be able to keep up with this pace and the associated demands. In "Fatigateau", their tenth play, the Junior Company Bonn explores the multi-layered dimensions of exhaustion. According to their own statements, it is based on the feeling of having to race through life like a robot and having to function, having too little time for oneself and others, and yet actually being too exhausted to meet the high expectations of a young, dynamic and positive generation.

With "Fatigateau", the new production by the young talent company created on the initiative of CocoonDance developed a piece largely under its own artistic responsibility for the first time. The dancers Emilia Lichte, Lola Kornbrust, Maris Pauka and Robin Nima Saffarian choreographed it together with the rest of the ensemble.

"Fatigateau" focuses on the perspective of teenagers and young adults between the ages of 11 and 22. Accompanied by CocoonDance co-founder Rafaële Giovanola and mentors Fa-Hsuan Chen, Ada Sternberg and Marcus Bomski, it is a moving evening." (tanznetz.de)
