There is an acute shortage of teachers in Viennese elementary school and 60 percent of children do not speak German as their first language. Austrian filmmaker Ruth Beckermann wants to get to know the fears and hardships of a dedicated teacher and her 25 pupils and follows their everyday school life to see what amazing skills and strategies each individual develops in this special situation.
